classical singer
The body of Nathan Howe is intermittently inhabited by several musicians, and one of them is a classically trained baritone. He has sung solos in several concerts with the Greeley Chamber Orchestra, Greeley Chorale, University of Northern Colorado choirs, and other church and community groups. He has also done classical session work for film music.
non-classical singer
Effective music has many sounds, and Nathan Howe embraces many styles in his performance life. From jazz to contemporary Christian, folk to pop/rock, his versatility shines in live performances and recordings. You can hear a few of his recordings at gratemusic.com.
pianist
Although he has served as an accompanist for vocal students and choirs, Nathan Howe prefers to accompany himself, as he encounters fewer creative differences in that arrangement. Piano is his primary instrument of accompaniment for composition. He also plays piano and organ regularly for his church on a voluntary basis.
conductor
As a part of his music education background, Nathan Howe regularly conducts choirs and other musical ensembles. He has directed several Church choirs, including the choir at the Greeley, Colorado Institute of Religion of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Preparing and performing with choirs is a joy associated with his career.
incurable ham
It has been rumored that Nathan Howe can act. He does it rather infrequently, but it does happen from time to time. For example, in Spring 2008 he portrayed a disciple in the Greeley, Colorado production of "Savior of the World."
