Nathan Howe believes that education should give each student practical preparation for life. Good intentions are not enough; the techniques and materials used in the classroom should be in harmony with current research, and the students should understand the reasons behind what is being taught.Oh, and the teacher should be an awesome musician, too.

Nathan Howe is currently the vocal music director for 7th through 12th grades in Fort Morgan, Colorado. He previously taught K-8 Music at Community Leadership Academy in Commerce City, Colorado. He has worked as a private music tutor (in voice and piano) since 2000. He coached speech and debate at the high school level from 2005 to 2008, and one of his students qualified for the 2006 national tournament of the National Forensic League. He has directed church choirs since 1999, and from 2001-2003, he gained significant teaching, leadership, and public speaking experience as a missionary in Australia. education
